Flight of the Black Bird, FLY!

this is more than a camera. more than a tlr. more than a 35mm film tlr. more than a 35mm film toy tlr. IT's BLACK BIRD, FLY! I mean, look at the design! Look at the colours! I have yet seen pics taken with it, but just by looking at the camera.... i know i want them.. :D

Definitely something that every (most anyway) photographers would want to own, want to collect. right droo?

beneath you..

have you ever had a nightmare so real that you woke up in cold sweat? upon waking, u still had that feeling that it's still happening and something else is still around you? and to make things worse, to have it during the 7th month..

yeh.. i had it last night. yeh.. i woke in cold sweat. though i can't remember most of the details.

the dream started somewhere... where i was with 'someone'. A girl of cos. kinda good times, like strolls on the beach, watching a movie, etc. Definitely a beautiful dream, yet I can't really recall cos wat was about to happen made a deeper impression.

The last thing i remembered about the dream were hugs, kisses, cuddles...

Then I woke. i was on my bed, and something was moving below me. yes BELOW! just inbetween me and the sheets. It became clear that having that 'beautiful' dream with the cuddles and all was the cause of that something moving below me!!

Refusing to open my eyes.. as i was at a point where i couldnt differentiate a dream from wat's really happening. it seems like it was trying to get out of the sheets and pull me down. Finally, I took the courage and opened my eyes, and there i was, in my room, on my own bed.... and it's still moving!!

Then suddenly, a hand grabbed my shoulders...
which gave me a shock.....

and i woke.. still in the same room... same bed... same position..
nothing was moving now. i was really really awake. yet, the fear was still there. The presense of 'something'... was still felt...

yes, i'm kinda 'old for this... yes, i'm a photographer and i do know how to use photoshop...

.... but hell!!! ... met up with noreen and stace that day and they DRAGGED me into this! /faint..

nonetheless, it was fun. :D well, they had most of the fun laughing while doing the 'artwork'.. arghhh..

ps.. do not comment about the poses.. we were merely following the samples on the screen.. /faint..

'Lomoing' for Electrico

Ah.. i was given the opportunity to LOMO the 'We Satellites Tour @ The Butter Factory' for Electrico on 6th Aug '08. They're a great band, a great bunch of people and definitely great music. Yes.. i'll go get their CDs. :P

I used LCA and Horizon on that day. Dark (indoor, it's a pub.. duh!), the nightmare of most lomographers. The risk of not getting anything or getting too much flash.. :(

anyway, here are some sneaks of pics taken that day. :D

There'll be an Exhibition on 22nd Aug '08 of the 8 Lomographers chosen by Objectifs (Singapore Lomography Embassy) and more pics of shots taken by the band themselves during the whole tour. Do pop by and support. :D

Objectif's Session #1 (2008)

yes yes.. i went to the lomo workshop organised by our lomo embassy, Objectif. :D Alot of familiar faces. :D and great to meet new fellow lomographers for the first time. :D
